Kylie Holt
Kylie has been dancing since she was two and has loved it ever since. She started dancing at Class Act Dance, where she learned jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. She joined the jazz company at Class Act and entered her first competition at age seven. Kylie continued to dance on the dance team at Templeton High School, with June Greenawalt as her coach. In 2010, she was awarded the ”Most Dedicated Team Member” after doing dance team for three years. The next year, her senior year, Kylie became captain of the Dance Team. Even while adding other hobbies such as singing, acting, and traveling with family, she has always maintained her passion for dance. Fresh out of high school, Kylie is attending Cuesta College and the plans to attend Cal Poly to further her studies. Kylie has now been blessed with the wonderful job of teaching young children to dance at Artistry In Motion. Growing up as a performer has made Kylie understand the feelings of “shining on stage” while doing what she loves the most. She hopes to spread the joy she has felt for sixteen years to children and their families who will watch them. Kylie is inspired by this famous quote from the movie The Lion King, “The past can hurt but the way I see it you can either run from it or learn from it!” This has made her never stop following her dreams.
